Our third Run has taken place and once again it poured down from start to finish, but without exception everyone was smiling! Don Goodman was on great form leading the warm up and I would personally like to thank absolutely everyone who turned up to either run or to support those running. It really is a wonderful way of raising money and we have already agreed to host another one again next year. Big kiss to you all and special hugs to Charlie, Bev, Ames, Jenny W and Jenny J at Radio WM, John Harper from Dragon Leisure and Colin Cox from Stage Systems, Kieran, and all the Wolves Marshals, Alison and Mark & all their great volunteers from Wolverhampton Running Club, Bod Atkins and everyone who contributed to the organisation.

Special thanks to Stretch, Mike Smith who came to take part all the way from the Royal Navy in Plymouth and to Tress & Trev all the way from Somerset. Stretch, Tressy and Trevor are all big bike fans and I have known them for some time now. It’s great that they have supported me with our fun run and they’ve promised that they’ll be back next year. Our own Stevie Bull pushed his daughter Gracie Jo and I believe Gracie had a lot of sponsors speeding her on her way. A very big thank you to the people of Wolverhampton.

I will let you know how much we raise, but whatever the final amount is, every single penny will be hugely valued by Promise. If you wish to make a donation then you can either send a cheque to Run for Dreams to our address here at PO Box 1947, Wolverhampton WV3 8YH

or go to Promise Dreams.co.uk directly and many thanks x
